Step into Sport
The Step into Sport Programme is open to all 14-19 year olds who are currently in education and is designed to encourage young people to get involved in sports volunteering.
The Step into Sport Programme is run through schools and colleges and as a Step into Sport volunteer you will get opportunities to volunteer either in your school or the wider community.
Step into Sport volunteers take on many different roles ranging from coaching primary school children in an after-school sports club to refereeing at local sports matches or helping a sports club design their website or kit.
As a Step into Sport volunteer you gain recognition for the hours you volunteer by logging them on an online passport and receiving certificates for completing certain milestones. Step into Sport volunteers in Camden can also take part in the Camden Leadership Academy where they will be able to access training and development opportunities.
