Mentoring and coaching
One to one coaching support for charity managers
People in business have a wide variety of skills that could be used to benefit voluntary and community organisations. This project is specifically for mangers to access coaching or mentoring type support. Managers in charitable organisations would be matched with someone to provide a sounding board for ideas, troubleshooting and moral support.
There will be the option for managers from the private sector to access training on how to apply a ‘solutions focused approach in mentoring’, using principles to support people to apply their skills, rather than telling people what to do or providing answers for them. This will help them in other areas of their work too.
Our service includes a briefing for managers, a one day training course (optional), and a matching service to match your managers with community leaders in need of some moral support.
